Manipulating carbon with main group alchemy

We’re a brand new group at UNCW interested in developing new methods for constructing bonds to carbon through radical and polar intermediates, especially through functionalizing bonds between carbon and other main group elements!

Current projects include oxidative activation of C-Si and C-Bi bonds as platforms to introduce other functional groups!
